About flexible amorphous silicon cell technology

The flexible amorphous silicon used in our solar-chip technology is a three layer composite technology. It utilises a sandwich structure design that is specially layered to absorb sunlight in the red, blue and green spectrum – thereby overcoming the weakness of single polycrystalline silicon which only absorbs sunlight in the form of low frequency spectrum (red) light waves.

Our new patented polymer battery technology was designed to resolve the existing problem of aging that was common in traditional amorphous silicon, so that the new solar panels would last far longer - for up to 15-20 years.

The  surface is treated to substantially reduce the secular reflection of light, and allows the panels to fully absorb sunlight.  With a combination of solar energy chips, fabric and EVA, the product is only 1/10 of the weight of traditional glass solar panels.
